Bertsch comes back to Athinaikos

Morgan Bertsch

Athinaikos AS Vurona (A1) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American 193cm forward Morgan Bertsch (college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) for season 2025-26. It is actually her comeback to Athens as she has played here before. Bertsch played this summer at Blaze (WPBA) in the U.S. In two games just recently she recorded very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.0bpg. This season she played at Athinaikos.
In 2019 she was drafted by Dallas Wings (WNBA) in third round (29th overall).
The former University of California - Davis standout is in her seventh season in pro basketball.
She is a very experienced player. Bertsch has played also professionally in Belgium (Kangoeroes), Poland (Gdynia and Lublin), Russia (Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region), Spain (Girona and Jairis), WNBA (Phoenix Mercury and Chicago Sky) and WUBA (NorCal Raiders). Bertsch's team won Spanish LF Endesa Cup in 2025. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Honorable Mention back in 2021 and 2022.
