Defending champion
PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki (GBL) agreed terms with 27-year old USA ex-international forward
RaiQuan Gray (203cm-118kg-1999, college:
FSU) for new 2026-27 season. He has played for the last two years at
AEK BC Athens in the GBL. In 27 games he had 12.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7spg last season. He helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. Gray also played 17 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 12.9ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.1apg and 1.2spg. He contributed to his team making it to the Basketball Champions League final. A very impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com Basketball Champions League Forward of the Year, named to All-Defensive Team and named to All-Imports Team.
In 2021 he was drafted by Brooklyn Nets (NBA) in second round (59th overall). The former Florida State University standout is in his sixth season in pro basketball.
Gray has played also professionally in NBA (San Antonio Spurs), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Long Island Nets) and NBA Summer League (San Antonio Spurs).
He won NBA G League Eastern Conference championship title in 2023.
