ZZ Leiden - Den Bosch 92-81

ZZ Leiden conquered DBL title. They held off Den Bosch in Game 4 of the title series to take the crown. The game was mostly controlled by ZZ Leiden. Den Bosch managed to win second period 29-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ZZ Leiden shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Tajion Jones (194-1999, college: UNC Asheville) fired 27 points (perfect from downtown making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Forward Brock Gardner (201-1997, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Gardner is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. DJ Fenner (198-1993, college: Nevada) produced 30 points and guard Austin Price (193-1995, college: Lehigh) added 19 points respectively for lost side.

Den Bosch - Landstede Hammers 89-82

Den Bosch celebrated the Toto Basketball Cup title. They held off Landslide Hammers in the Final in Almere tonight. Sherron Dorsey-Walker (195-G-1993, college: Oakland) scored 18 points to lead the winners.
Landstede looked the better side in the first half. They posted a 40-34 halftime advantage. They extended the margin at 9-point mark heading into the fourth frame 64-55. But Sherron Dorsey-Walker came up big in the final period steering Den Bosch to an 85-82 lead. Austin Price (193-G-1995, college: Lehigh) went perfect from the stripe in the dying seconds to seal the win for Den Bosch. D.J. Fenner (198-SG-1993, college: Nevada) and Austin Price delivered 16 points each for the winners. Jack Pagenkopf (191-PG-1997, college: Utah Tech) replied with 17 points and 10 assists for Landstede.

ZZ Leiden clinched SuperCup title in the country. They overcame Landstede Hammers 62-57 on Sunday night.
Leiden trailed 1 point at the end of the first period, but replied with a 19-16 run to take a 32-30 halftime advantage. ZZ Leiden managed to add two narrow wins in the second half for the final result. Roeland Schaftenaar (211-F/C-1988, college: Oregon St.) led the way with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
