Kulk's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

23-year old power forward Liselot Kulk (184-PF-2003) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Sportiff Compagny Grasshoppers Katwijk and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed QSTA Utd (#2, 5-2) with 23-point margin 90-67. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Grasshoppers to consolidate first place in the Dutch WBL. Grasshoppers have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Kulk had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Grasshoppers, through which she has constantly improved. Kulk has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.5ppg) and averages solid 2.7spg and 54.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Charlotte van Kleef (190-C-1996) of TopKip Lions Landsmeer. She is international center in her 7th season at TopKip Lions. In the last game van Kleef recorded an impressive 28 points and 4 rebounds. Of course she led TopKip Lions to another comfortable win outscoring Binnenland (3-4) 85-43. This victory allowed TopKip Lions to move up to 6th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. van Kleef is one of the most experienced players at TopKip Lions and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#1). She also registered 5.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Anke Rikhof (191-F-1996) of Jolly Jumpers Tubbergen (#4). Rikhof showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Jolly J., leading her team to a 81-64 easy win against the lower-ranked Triple Threat (#9, 2-5). Jolly J. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Rikhof has a great season in Holland.
