Van Der Keijl's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

31-year old center Richelle Van Der Keijl (196-C-1993) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Landslake Lions Landsmeer and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
She had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Landstede (#10, 0-19) with 75-point margin 96-21. Landslake is placed at 2nd position in Dutch Eredivisie. They are still close to the very top. Landslake would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 15-3 record. It's Van Der Keijl's second year at Landslake and it's hard to imagine this team without her. University of New Mexico graduate has very impressive stats this year. Van Der Keijl is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.7ppg) and averages solid 1.7bpg and 61.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Lotte Van Kruistum (183-SF-2003) of top-ranked Sportiff Compagny Grasshoppers Katwijk. She is international in her 7th season at Grasshoppers. In the last game Van Kruistum recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Grasshoppers to edge slightly lower-ranked Triple Threat (#3, 15-4) by 4 points 69-65. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Grasshoppers consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 17-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Van Kruistum is one of the most experienced players at Grasshoppers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.1ppg (#5). She also registered 7.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Landslake's star - forward Loyce Bettonvil (185-F/C-1993). Bettonvil scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Landslake Lions Landsmeer, helping her team with a 96-21 easy win against Landstede (#10, 0-19). Landslake is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 15-3 record is not that bad... Bettonvil has a very solid season. In 6 games in Holland she scored 13.8ppg. She also has 8.7rpg, 3.2spg and a FGP of 60.6%.
