Bickle's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Caitlin Bickle (185-F-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for VBV CEKK Cegled and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, while her team beat Vasas Akademia (#11, 0-5), the league's bottom-ranked team 69-55. Cegledi is placed at 4th position in Hungarian A Division. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Cegledi will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Bickle had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It's her second year at Cegledi and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Baylor University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bickle is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.6ppg), rebounds (5th best: 8.4rpg) and assists (9th best: 4.0apg).

Second best performed player last round was Masa Jankovic (187-F/C-2000) of league's second-best Sopron Basket. She is Serbian forward in her first season at Sopron. In the last game Jankovic recorded an impressive 23 points and 9 rebounds. It was enough for Sopron to edge the lower-ranked Csata TKK (#5, 3-2) by 2 points 77-75. Sopron's second position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Jankovic is a newcomer at Sopron and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#4). She also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Cegledi's star - forward Judit Barnai (190-F/C-1994). Barnai scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of VBV CEKK Cegled, helping her team with a 69-55 easy win against Vasas Akademia (#11, 0-5). Cegledi needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Barnai has a great season in Hungary. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.0ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 11.4rpg (#1 in league).
