Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most surprising game was the first loss of Njardvik (3-1) in Reykjavik on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked KR (3-1) 89-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Njardvik. KR made 31-of-39 free shots (79.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of her twelve free throws !!!). contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. KR's coach Daniel Halldorsson used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brittany Dinkins replied with 25 points and 8 rebounds for Njardvik. KR moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Njardvik. KR is looking forward to face Tindastoll (#8) in Sauoarkrokur in the next round where they are favorite. Njardvik will play at home against the league's leader Grindavik (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Valur moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Tindastoll at the other side keeps the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Armann. Armann's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Hamar, where they defeated Hamar (0-4) 78-73 on Tuesday. The winners were led by Sylvia Halfdanardottir who scored that evening 21 points and 8 rebounds. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by Jada Guinn did not help to save the game for Hamar. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Armann (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Tindastoll. It was Hamar's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Stjarnan. Armann's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Reykjavik Valur.

In the last two games of round 4 Haukar was beaten by Keflavik on the road 94-84. Grindavik won against Stjarnan on its own court 79-66.
The most impressive performance of 4th round was 19 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals by Abby Beeman of Grindavik.

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Keflavik and 5th ranked Haukar had identical 2-1 record. This time Keflavik used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Hafnarfjordur 94-84 on Wednesday night. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Keflavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international forward Sara Hinriksdottir (185-1996, college: Canisius) who scored that evening 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian guard Keishana Washington (170-2000, college: Drexel, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Keflavik players scored in double figures. Even 32 points and 6 rebounds by did not help to save the game for Haukar. American forward Krystal Freeman (183-1999, college: Tulane) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Keflavik have a solid three-game winning streak. Very expected game when bottom-ranked Stjarnan (0-4) lost on the road to top-ranked Grindavik (4-0) 79-66 on Tuesday. Grindavik forced 19 Stjarnan turnovers.
