Best players of Icelandic Subway League round 6 (by Hoops Agents)

Ivorian Molly Kaiser (173-G-2002) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader KR Reykjavik and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 23-year old guard had the game-high 44 points adding four rebounds and three assists for KR in her team's victory, helping them to beat Valur (#5, 4-2) 100-93. It allowed KR to jump to the first place in the Icelandic Subway League. KR have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Kaiser had a remarkable 72.2% from 2-point range. She turned to be KR's top player in her first season with the team. New Mexico State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kaiser is in league's top in points (3rd best: 26.4ppg) and averages solid 57.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Swedish power forward Paulina Hersler (190-PF-1994) of U.M.F. Njardvik. Hersler impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Njardvik cruised to a 102-93 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Keflavik (#6, 3-3). Njardvik's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Hersler is well-known by Njardvik fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Njardvik's star - Cambodian Brittany Dinkins (170-PG-1994). Dinkins got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. She went also for eight rebounds and six assists. She was another key player of U.M.F. Njardvik, helping her team with a 102-93 win against the lower-ranked Keflavik (#6, 3-3). Njardvik is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Dinkins has a great season in Iceland. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.0ppg (2nd best) and assists with 6.0apg (8th best).
