25-year old American guard Re'Shawna Stone (168-G-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Valur Reykjavik and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
She had a double-double of 37 points and 15 rebounds, while her team was edged out by Tindastoll (#8, 5-8) 81-79. Valur maintains the 4th position in Icelandic Subway League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Valur will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 8-5 record. In the team's last game Stone had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. She turned to be Valur's top player in her first season with the team. The University of Buffalo graduate has very impressive stats this year. Stone is in league's top in points (2nd best: 24.8ppg), assists (8th best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 53.6% FGP and 43.6% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Danielle Rodriguez (177-G-1993) of top-ranked U.M.F. Njardvik. She is naturalized American guard in her first season at Njardvik. In the last game Rodriguez recorded an impressive 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led Njardvik to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked KR (#3, 9-4) 106-75. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Njardvik consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team has currently 10-3 record. Rodriguez is a newcomer at Njardvik and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Abby Beeman (163-PG-2001) of league's second-best U.M.F. Grindavik. Beeman showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 20 assists (!!!) in the last round. She was a key player of Grindavik, leading her team to a 99-83 easy win against the lower-ranked Stjarnan (#7, 5-8). Grindavik needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 4 lost games. Beeman has a great season in Iceland. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (8th best) and assists with 10.6apg (best passer).
