Cambodian Point guard Brittany Dinkins (170-PG-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked U.M.F. Njardvik, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds, while her team outclassed Valur (#4, 13-9) with 26-point margin 87-61. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Njardvik maintains the 2nd position in Icelandic Subway League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Njardvik will need more victories to improve their 15-7 record. In the team's last game Dinkins had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Njardvik and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Brittany Dinkins has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.4ppg), assists (8th best: 5.6apg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 54.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Maddie Sutton (180-F-1998, agency: Dagger Basket) of U.M.F. Tindastoll. Sutton had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Tindastoll to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Hamar (#9, 5-17) 90-68. This victory allowed Tindastoll to move up to 7th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-12 record. Sutton is a newcomer at Tindastoll, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#8). Her other stats are also decent: 13.7rpg and 5.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tindastoll's star - Venezuelan guard Roselis Silva (166-PG-1991). Silva showcased her all-around game by recording 10 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists (!!!) in the last round. She was another key player of U.M.F. Tindastoll, helping her team with a 90-68 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Hamar (#9, 5-17). The chances of Tindastoll ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Silva could help Tindastoll to bring them higher in the standings. Silva has a very solid season. In 6 games in Iceland she scored 8.2ppg. She also has 5.2rpg, 9.7apg and 3.5spg.
