Hapoel Eilat (Winner League) agreed terms with 26-year old American power forward Devon Scott (206-113kg-94, college: Philander Smith). He moved there from Minas in Brazilian NBB league where he played this season. In 26 games he had 14.3ppg, 7.8rpg and 2.2apg. Quite impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Import Player of the Year, Center of the Year and named to 1st Team. The last season Scott played at Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos (La Liga) in Argentinian league. In 40 games he recorded very remarkable stats: 15.5ppg, 8.4rpg and 2.9apg. It was another spectacular season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Honorable Mention.
Scott is quite experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Scott has played previously professionally in Canada (Wellington), Chile (Puerto Montt), New Zealand (Rangers) and NABL (Ohio Bootleggers).
He attended Philander Smith College until 2016 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
