Israeli Winner League round 2 best performance: Malik Hall (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Malik Hall (203-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Hapoel HaEmek, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team M.Rishon (#14, 0-2) with 20-point margin 80-60. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. H.HaEmek is placed at 9th position in Israeli Winner League. H.HaEmek is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Hall turned to be H.HaEmek's top player in his first season with the team. Former Michigan State University star has very solid stats this year. Hall is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.5ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 11.0rpg) and averages impressive 70.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American James Dickey III (208-F/C-1996) of league's leader Hapoel Eilat. Dickey III had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Hapoel Eilat cruised to a 78-69 relatively comfortable win over H.Holon (0-2). His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Dickey III is a newcomer at H.Eilat, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Josh Christopher (195-G-2001) of Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (#13). Christopher got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and six assists. Despite Christopher's great performance the Ironi Nes-Ziona lost 96-103 to Bnei Hertzeliya (#10, 1-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Christopher has individually a great season in Israel. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (7th best).
