M.Petah Tikva signs Cody Riley

Maccabi Petah Tikva (National League) signed 27-year-old American power forward Cody Riley (206cm-113kg-1997, college: UCLA) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He will still stay in Israel where he was the top rebounder at E.Ashkelon last season. In 20 National League games in Israel, he had 13.4ppg, 10.5rpg, 2.3apg, 1.0spg, and 1.2bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Third Team. Riley also played for another Israeli team, Elitzur BRIGA Netanya (Winner League).
He is a quite experienced player. Riley has played professionally in Belgium (Leuven Bears), Slovenia (Rogaska), Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion and Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), and Czech Republic (Brno).
He played in the final of the Pac-12 Tournament in 2022 and was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Alpe Adria Cup Honorable Mention in 2023.
Riley graduated from UCLA in 2022 and it'll be his fourth season as a pro player.
