M.Rishon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Gabe DeVoe (191-1995, college: Clemson) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Yam Madar (190-2000) answered with 20 points and 5 assists and Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic (194-1994) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures.

Hapoel Jerusalem looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Jared Harper (178-1997, college: Auburn) nailed 11 points and 8 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Justin Smith (201-1999, college: Arkansas) accounted for 21 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Canadian center Nick Ongenda (211-2000, college: DePaul) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and American guard Cameron Henry (198-1999, college: Indiana St.) added 7 points and 5 assists respectively for H.Gilboa Galil in the defeat. H.Gilboa Galil's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

At the losing side Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and American swingman Justin Edler-Davis (193-1998, college: CSUB) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Hapoel Holon and five Bnei Hertzeliya players scored in double figures.

American guard Damian Dunn (196-2001, college: Pittsburgh) came up with 27 points and the other American import guard Marquis Barnett (193, college: Kent St.) added 16 points respectively for Hapoel Beer Sheva in the defeat. Four Hapoel Beer Sheva players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
