Maccabi Karmiel (D1) signed 28-year old former international 160cm point guard Ofir Lavy for upcoming season. Lavy played for Israeli Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for U18 National Team in 2015.
She represented Israel at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Eliat (Israel) eight years ago. Her stats at that event were 7 games: 4.0ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.6apg, 1.0spg.
Lavy has played previously professionally in Israel (Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan, Elitzur Ramla, Hertzliya, Hapoel Petah Tikva and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion) and Czech Republic (Brandys). Her team won Israeli League Regular Season in 2018 and 2024.
