Vanoli Soresina has won Legadue play offs and has gained the promotion in Lega A for the first time in his history.
Coach Cioppi's team defeated 3-1 Banco di Sardegna Sassari showing a great organization, a leader as Troy Bell (186-G-80,college:Boston College) and young players as Rudy Mbemba (181-G-87) and Marco Cusin (211-C-85). Bell was the top scorer of the final series and confirmed himself as one as the stronger players of Legadue; moreover, he redimed his last season played with Biella. Sassari can be satisfied for the brillant season. Coach Cavina's team has been the true outsider of this tournament, leaded by Jason Rowe (178-G-78,college:LoyolaMd) and Trent Whiting (185-G-76,college:BYU).

Kyle Hines (198-F/C-86) has been named MVP, while Silvio Gigena (200-F-75) has been awarded as best italian player of the Final.
Hines scored 20 points with 10/12 from the line, grabbed 9 rebounds and added 5 steals Double - double for his teammate Dawan Robinson (189-G-82,college:Rhode Island), with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Vanoli Soresina played without his leader Quadre Lollis (200-PF-73, college:MontanaSt). Troy Bell ((186-G-80, college: Boston College) was the top scorer with 21 points, but he had 6/15 from the field and 6 turnovers.Silvio Gigena scored 14 points with 6/9 from the field.
The two finalists of last year, Jesi (the winner) and Ferrara were promoted at the end of the season.
