They overcame Prima Veroli in the Final series 3-1. After losing the opening game Sassari claimed three straight victories and won the series. Sassari thus sealed the Seria A promotion. The hosts opened the fourth game of the series aggressively. Sassari accounted for 26 points in the starting quarter and enjoyed an 11-point buffer at the first break. But Prima Veroli gradually straightened their rhythm. The visitors took over in the second period and got closer. Prima Veroli narrowed the deficit to just 5 points at the interval. The visitors continued to threaten the margin and cut it to as little as two points 63:65 with ten minutes to go. But the fourth frame turned into the display of Sassari's dominance.
