Harrison's 39-point game gives him Serie A2 Player of the Week award

32-year old American guard D'Angelo Harrison (193-G-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for Liofilchem Roseto and receives a Hoops Agents Serie A2 Player of the Week award for round 35.
He had the game-high 39 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Roseto in his team's victory, helping them to crush Cento (#17, 10-25) with 18-point margin 89-71. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Roseto maintains the 19th position in Italian Serie A2. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 27 games and recorded just seven victories. In the team's last game Harrison had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He just recently signed at Roseto, being already a very valuable addition to the team. St. John's University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Second best performed player last round was Regimantas Miniotas (208-PF-1996) of top-ranked Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro. He is Lithuanian forward in his first season at Pesaro. In the last game Miniotas recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Pesaro to edge the lower-ranked Torino (#12, 16-19) by 4 points 81-77. Of course Pesaro still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 26-9 record. Miniotas is a newcomer at Pesaro and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Robert Allen (206-F-2000, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) of Reale Mutua Basket Torino (#12). Allen scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Allen's great performance the Torino lost 77-81 to the higher-ranked Pesaro (#1, 26-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Torino ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 19 games, recording just sixteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Allen could help Torino to bring them higher in the standings. Allen has a great season in Italy. After 35 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.1ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 9.9rpg (2nd best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
