Ujkani's double-double lands him Liga e pare Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old forward Kujtim Ujkani (201-F-1998, agency: BIG) had a very impressive game in the last round for KB Kosova Vushtrri and receives a Hoops Agents Liga e pare Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 37 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Peja B (#11, 0-5) with 55-point margin 130-75. Vushtrria maintains the 6th position in Kosovan Liga e pare. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Vushtrria will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Ujkani had a remarkable 64.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Vushtrria's top player in his first season with the team. Ujkani has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 29.2ppg) and averages solid 1.2bpg,58.0% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Eris Zeneli (193-F/G-2005) of top-ranked KB New Basket Prizren. He is a swingman in his first season at New Basket. In the last game Zeneli recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led New Basket to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Borea Peja (4-1) 97-65. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Borea Peja managed to tie with New Basket at the very top position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Zeneli is a newcomer at New Basket and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Vushtrria's star - Parart Zeqiri (C/F). Zeqiri showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of KB Kosova Vushtrri, helping his team with a 130-75 easy win against Peja B (#11, 0-5). Vushtrria needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Zeqiri has a great season in Kosovo. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.6apg (best passer).
