Kosovan Superliga round 15 best performance: Jade Williams

American Power forward Jade Williams (196-F/C-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked KBF Prishtina, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds, while her team beat Peja 03 (#3, 8-7) 75-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Prishtina to consolidate first place in the Kosovan Superliga. Prishtina has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 14-1. Williams turned to be Prishtina's top player in her first season with the team. Former Duke University star has very solid stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (4th best: 22.4ppg), assists (9th best: 2.9apg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 56.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Sarah Mgbeike (185-F) of league's second-best Bashkimi Prizren. Mgbeike had a very good evening with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course she led Bashkimi to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Penza (#4, 5-11) 82-59. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Bashkimi consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team lost just two games this season, while they won 13 matches. Mgbeike is a newcomer at Bashkimi, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.6ppg (#3). She also registered 11.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Prishtina's star - American guard Asianae Johnson (173-G). Johnson showcased her all-around game by recording 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of KBF Prishtina, helping her team with a 75-62 easy win against #3 ranked Peja 03. Many experts and fans count Prishtina as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 14 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Johnson has a great season in Kosovo. After 15 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.2ppg (6th best) and assists with 5.5apg (3rd best). She also has 3.2spg and a FGP of 55.0%.
