The most important game in the last round took place in Peja between third ranked Penza (3-3) and fifth ranked Junior 06 (2-4) on Sunday night. Penza was defeated by Junior 06 in a tough game at home 74-81. Junior 06 forced 28 Penza turnovers. Strangely Penza outrebounded Junior 06 40-28 including 20 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Tanyia Gordon (178, college: Lander) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Abby Ogle (173, college: Kent St.) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Jeanae Terry (155-2001, college: Purdue) who recorded a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 22 rebounds. Newly promoted Junior 06 maintains fifth position with 2-4 record. Penza lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Prishtina. Junior 06 are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Trepca (#6) in Mitrovice in the next round. Penza will play at home against Prishtina and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Bottom-ranked Trepca (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-68 loss to fourth ranked Peja 03 (4-2) in Mitrovice on Sunday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Veronika Liubinets had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Reneya Hopkins with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Peja 03 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Trepca still closes the standings with six games lost. Peja 03 will meet at home league's leader Bashkimi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
