It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Bashkimi. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Peja 03 forced 24 Bashkimi turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian center Veronika Liubinets (192-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Sara Vraniqi (170-2002) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Amari Heard (183, college: SSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for Bashkimi. Peja 03 have a solid series of four victories in a row. An interesting game for Penza (4-3) which hosted in Peja 4th placed Prishtina (3-4). Third ranked Penza managed to get a 6-point victory 73-67. It was a great evening for American point guard Jeanae Terry (155-2001, college: Purdue) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Jeta Zeka helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American Kayla Johnson (178, college: Alaska) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Penza maintains third place with 4-3 record having just two points less than leader Bashkimi. Prishtina at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Penza will play against bottom-ranked Trepca (#6) in Mitrovice in the next round. Prishtina will play at home against the league's second-placed Peja 03 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Trepca's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after six consecutive losses.
