The game between second ranked Penza (6-5) and fifth ranked Junior 06 (4-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Penza was defeated by Junior 06 in Prizren 92-80. Junior 06 forced 32 Penza turnovers. Strangely Penza outrebounded Junior 06 44-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Abby Ogle (173, college: Kent St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 10 steals. Forward Vesa Krasniqi (178-2005) helped adding 20 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American point guard Jeanae Terry (155-2001, college: Purdue) responded with a triple-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 10 assists. Newly promoted Junior 06 maintains fifth place with 4-7 record. Penza at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Junior 06 are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Trepca (#6) in Mitrovice in the next round. Penza will play on the road against Prishtina and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Bashkimi's (#1, 10-1) victory against 4th placed Prishtina (5-6) 79-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Prishtina. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Aulona Muhadri (182-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Caterrion Thompson accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds. American Kayla Johnson (178, college: Alaska) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for Prishtina in the defeat. Bashkimi have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-1 record. Prishtina at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Bashkimi will play against league's second-placed Peja 03 at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Prishtina will play against Penza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Peja 03's coach Izzat Ismail felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
