Diedona Halitaj

Peja 03 (Superliga) agreed terms with 26-year old international point guard Diedona Halitaj (166cm-1998) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. She has played for the last three years at Bashkimi in the Superliga. In 25 games, she had 7.2ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.8apg, and 1.8spg last season. In 2024-25, she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Kosovan Superliga Defensive Player of the Year. She also played 8 games in Liga Unike, where she recorded just 2.8ppg, 1.6rpg, and 1.9apg. Halitaj helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
She has also been a member of the Kosovan international program for some years. Halitaj has regularly played for the Kosovan senior team since 2021 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2016.
She also represented Kosovo at the FIBA Women's European Championship for Small Countries in Pristina (Kosovo) last year. During this event she scored an average of 1 ppg and had rpg.
Halitaj has played ppg for two other teams: Prishtina and Penza.
