Daci is back at Penza

Saranda Daci

Penza Peja (Superliga) agreed terms with 32-year old ex-international center Saranda Daci (190cm-1993) for new 2025-26 season. It is actually her comeback to Peja as she has played here before. She played last season at Peja 03 in the Superliga. In 5 games she had 8.4ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.4apg and 1.2bpg. She helped them to make it to the Kosovan League final after they ended regular season as second best team. Good year as she was named League Player of the Week. Daci also played 3 games in Liga Unike where she recorded just 1.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.3spg.
She represented Kosovo at the FIBA Women's European Championship for Small Countries in Nicosia (Cyprus) three years ago. During this event she scored an average of 10 points per game and had 5 rebounds per game.
Daci is a very experienced player. She has played in Montenegro (Niksic), Turkey (Kocaeli), Czech Republic (Basket Slovanka MB Tabor), and Kosovo (Bashkimi and Prishtina).
Among many awards, she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.
