Syla is back at United

United Basketball (signed 20-year-old guard Viola Syla (175cm-2004) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. It is actually her comeback to United as she has played here before. She will still stay in Kosovo where she played last season at Penza (Superliga). In 17 games, she had 5.5ppg and 3.1rpg. A2 will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. For two previous seasons (2022-24) she played at another Kosovan team United Basketball (also in Superliga).
Syla represented Kosovo at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship Division B in Craiova (Romania) two years ago. During this event she scored an average of 0.7 points per game and had 1.3 rebounds per game.
