Kosovan Superliga round 3 best performance: Paige Powell (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Paige Powell (188-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for United Basketball, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player had a double-double of 31 points and 17 rebounds, while her team beat Junior 06 (#6, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 87-73. United is placed at 4th position in Kosovan Superliga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. United will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Powell had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. She turned to be United's top player in her first season with the team. Former Winthrop University star has very solid stats this year. Powell is in league's top in points (2nd best: 29.7ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.7rpg) and averages impressive 1.7bpg,3.0spg and 52.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international power forward Aulona Muhadri (182-F/C-1998) of league's leader KBF Bashkimi Prizren. Muhadri had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Of course she led Bashkimi to another comfortable win outscoring Trepca (0-3) 96-74. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Muhadri is one of the most experienced players at Bashkimi and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jacaira Allen (180-G-1998) of league's second-best Peja 03. Allen scored 28 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was a key player of Peja 03, leading her team to a 91-63 easy win against #3 ranked Prishtina in a game of the week. Peja 03 has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Allen also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Allen has a great season in Kosovo. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (8th best).
