Kosovan Superliga round 6 best performance: Nija Collier (by Hoops Agents)

American Swingman Nija Collier (183-G/F-1999) had an amazing evening in the last round for KBF Prishtina, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds, while her team crushed United (#5, 2-4) with 21-point margin 82-61. Prishtina maintains the 3rd position in Kosovan Superliga. They are still close to the very top. Prishtina would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Collier had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be Prishtina's top player in her first season with the team. Former University of Central Missouri star has very solid stats this year. Collier is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 13.8rpg), assists (8th best: 3.4apg) and averages impressive 1.8bpg and 2.6spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Thaniya Marks (185-F-2001) of league's leader KBF Bashkimi Prizren. Marks had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she led Bashkimi to another comfortable win 70-56 over the lower-ranked Penza (#4, 2-3) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Bashkimi consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Marks is a newcomer at Bashkimi, but is already one of team's top players. Former The University of Texas at El Paso star Marks is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Prishtina's star - American forward Dejah Terrell (185-F-1999). Terrell scored 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of KBF Prishtina, helping her team with a 82-61 easy win against slightly lower-ranked United (#5, 2-4). Prishtina is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Terrell has a great season in Kosovo. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.5ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 18.5rpg (#1 in league).

8. Eve Wembanyama (185-C-2001) of Peja 03 - 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
9. De'Myla Brown (170-PG) of United - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Arbnore Perquku (176-G-1988) of Peja 03 - 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
