Coach Izzat Ismail (ex Peja 03) signs at Etha

Division A newcomer Etha Engomis Nicosia signed Lebanese coach Izzat Ismail, who had previously coached Peja 03 in the Kosovan league.
Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, and African leagues.

Ismail has coached previously in Saudi Arabia (Al Ula), Tunisia (ES Cap Bon), Turkey (Kocaeli), Lebanon (Byblos), and Egypt (El Tayaran). He reached final of Liga Unike in 2025. Among a lot of awards in his career he was Tunisian League Champion and Tunisian Cup Winner back in 2022, he also reached Eurocup Second Round with Bursa back in 2024.

Ismail was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Kosovan Superliga Coach of the Year in 2025.
