TTT Riga inks Anna Liepina

TTT Riga (LSBL) agreed terms with 17-year-old center Anna Liepina (186cm-2007) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She has played for the last two years at Daugavpils Universitate in the LSBL. In 6 games, she had 12.3ppg, 13.3rpg (leader!!!), 1.3apg, 1.0spg, and 1.7bpg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. The 2023-24 season was great as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Latvian LSBL First Team. Liepina also played 20 games in WBBL where she recorded 11.4ppg, 12.3rpg, 1.2apg, 1.1spg, and 1.1bpg. It was a good season as she was named League Player of the Week and named to Eurobasket.com All-WBBL First Team.
She represented Latvia at the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship in Izmir (Turkey) last year. During this event, she scored an average of 13.4 ppg and had 8.4 rpg.
