Prishtina claimed Liga Unike title. They topped Penza in the thrilling Final clash tonight. Tynice Martin (180-G-1997, college: WVU) scored 24 points to pace the winners.
Penza secured a 21-17 lead ten minutes into the game. But Prishtina responded with a 24-12 rally in the second term. They ensured a 41-33 halftime lead. Prishtina held Penza to only 10 points in the third term to secure a 10-point lead at the final break. Penza pulled within 3 points within the final minute of regulation. Kaela H sank two free throws to put Penza within one point. Jeta Zeka had a chance to win the game for Penza but missed a three-pointer and Prishtina got away with the victory at the end. Stasha Carey (188-F-1995, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) delivered 15 points and 16 rebounds for the champions. Kaela Hilaire (157-PG-1998, college: Stony Brook) responded with 23 points for Penza. Narlyn Mosquera (197-C-1989) had 20 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.

Penza win UNIQA League Super Cup title - Oct 15, 2021

Penza have won the UNIQA League Super Cup title beating Prishtina 71-65 in the Final game. Trailing 7 points at the end of the first period, Penza managed to win the rest of the quarters. The decisive was the third one with a 21-11 surge.
Cheah Rael-Whitsitt (180-F, college: Texas A&M) stepped up with 21 points and 14 rebounds to be named MVP of the game. Briana Williams (170-G-92, college: Mercer) netted 14 and Valbona Bytyqi-Osmanaj (182-SF-87) brought 11. Sarah Mgbeike (185-F, college: OLLU) replied with 21 points and 16 rebounds in a loss.
