Taliyah Hopkins
Bashkimi Prizren (Superliga) landed 25-year old American 180cm swingman Taliyah Hopkins (college: Charleston). Hopkins played most recently at Flamurtari in Albanian Superliga. She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 15 Superliga games she averaged 14.9ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.4apg and 2.1spg. Hopkins helped them to win the League title. It was a very successful season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Albanian League Second Team. She also played 7 games in Liga Unike where she had very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6spg. Hopkins contributed to her team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. She can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike 2nd Team. The other team she played that season for was Jedinstvo in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 9 games she recorded also remarkable stats: 26.3ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.3apg and 2.4spg. |
