Third-ranked Albanian Tirana (4-5) was very close to win a game against second ranked Kosovan Prishtina (8-2) on Tuesday. Prishtina managed to secure only two-point victory 76-74. However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Mexican forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-1993, college: Charleston) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American guard Asianae Johnson (173, college: MSU) contributed with 19 points and 8 assists for the winners. Prishtina's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Uruguayan Sabrina Molina (179-1998) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for Tirana. Prishtina maintains second position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Bashkimi. Tirana at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost.
One of the most interesting games of round 10 was a derby match between two teams from Albania. The game took place in Tirana where sixth ranked Partizani won against visiting Flamurtari (1-8) 63-55. American center Emma Fee (185-1999, college: Winona St., agency: DC Sports) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ornela Lalaj chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Asia Henderson (190, college: UNCW) responded with 30 points and 8 rebounds. Partizani (2-8) moved-up to fifth place. Flamurtari lost seventh consecutive game. Defending Albanian champion dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost.
One of the most interesting games of round 10 was a derby match between two teams from Kosovo. The game took place in Prizren where top-ranked Bashkimi outleveled visiting Penza (4-6) 96-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Penza. Jeta Zeka notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Even 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks by Saranda Daci did not help to save the game for Penza. Undefeated Bashkimi (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending Kosovan champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Loser Penza dropped to the fourth place with six games lost.
