Luna-Castro's 21 points and 9 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old USA-MEXn forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-F-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked KBF Prishtina and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had the game-high 21 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Prishtina in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Tirana (#3, 4-6) 76-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Prishtina maintains the 2nd position in Liga Unike . They are still close to the very top. Prishtina would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Luna-Castro had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. College of Charleston graduate has very impressive stats this year. Luna-Castro is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 8.9rpg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 58.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Asia Henderson (190-C) of Flamurtari Vlore. She is American center in her first season at Flamurtari. Henderson is a newcomer at Flamurtari and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.6ppg (#5). She also registered 13.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Adrienne Williams (180-G-1991) of league's leader Bashkimi Prizren. Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was a key player of Bashkimi, leading her team to a 96-53 easy win against #4 ranked Penza in a game of the week. Bashkimi have amazing season winning all 10 games without a single defeat. Williams turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Williams has a great season in Liga Unike. After 10 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.8ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 8.5rpg (2nd best) and assists with 2.5apg (6th best). She also has 3.5spg and a FGP of 55.9%. Williams attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on her way to pro basketball.
