Prishtina cruise past Bashkimi to celebrate 2024 title

Prishtina dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bashkimi's 22. They outrebounded Bashkimi 46-34 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Prishtina looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Asianae Johnson (173, college: MSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American-Mexican forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-1993, college: Charleston) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds. Prishtina's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Sarah Mgbeike (185, college: OLLU) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Adrienne Williams (180-1991, college: Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Four Tirana players scored in double figures. Tirana's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Saranda Daci (190-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Davion Wingate (168, college: FGCU) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Penza in the defeat.
