Ramos' double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old American guard Desiree Ramos (170-G-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Flamurtari Vlore and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She got a double-double of 19 points and 10 assists, while her team beat Junior 06 (#6, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 62-53. Flamurtari is placed at 3rd position in Liga Unike. Flamurtari is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Ramos turned to be Flamurtari's top player in her first season with the team. San Jose State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ramos is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.3ppg), rebounds (8th best: 8.5rpg), assists (5th best: 4.8apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 54.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Diamond Cannon (178-F-2000) of Junior 06 Moni Bau Prizren. She is American forward in her first season at Junior 06. In the last game Cannon recorded an impressive double-double of 14 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Junior 06 lost that game 53-62 to Flamurtari (2-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Cannon is a newcomer at Junior 06 and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. Former Tennessee State University star Cannon is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to Arbnore Percuku of league's leader KBF Bashkimi Prizren. Percuku scored 21 points and passed 13 assists (!!!). She was a key player of Bashkimi, leading her team to a 77-63 easy win against Tirana (#5, 1-3). Bashkimi started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Percuku turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Percuku has a great season in Liga Unike. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (4th best) and assists with 11.0apg (best passer).
