Liga Unike round 7 best performance: Brittany Byrd (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Brittany Byrd (176-G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked KBF Bashkimi Prizren, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, three rebounds and eight assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Tirana (#3, 4-5) with 28-point margin 82-54. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Bashkimi to consolidate first place in the Liga Unike. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Bashkimi already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Byrd had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 14 attempts. She turned to be Bashkimi's top player in her first season with the team. Brittany Byrd averages just after three games 18.7ppg, 5.7rpg and 4.3apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Alexis Tolefree (173-PG-1998) of Peja 03. Tolefree had a very good evening with 41 points and 2 assists. Of course she led Peja 03 to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Partizani (#4, 4-5) 100-66. Peja 03's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tolefree is a newcomer at Peja 03, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Peja 03's star - American guard Jordan King (180-G). King showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Peja 03, helping her team with a 100-66 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Partizani (#4, 4-5). Peja 03 needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. The season just started for King as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team's leader.
