Wolves ink Mindaugas Lukauskis- August 10, 2022
He won Lithuanian League championship title in 2006 and 2009 and made it to the cup final in 2008, 2015, 2017 and 2018. The previous (2020-21) season he played at BC Siauliai where in 31 LKL games he recorded 8.9ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.6apg and 1.3spg in that year. He was a member of Lithuanian Senior National Team between 2005 and 2011. He is quite experienced player. Lukauskis has played also professionally in France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Germany (EWE Baskets), Italy (Basket Barcellona), Spain (Valencia and Bilbao), Turkey (Tofas) and Lithuania (Rytas, Lietkabelis, Sakalai and Prienai CBet). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com Lithuanian LKL All-Domestic Players Team back in 2014. He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Wolves. He could be described: A big guard who shoots well from outside, but also is able to create his ouwn shot frm the dribble. He's completely skilled, makes well all the intangibles, but hesn't so quick, and he's a better defender on SFs than SGs. BC Wolves roster for 2022-23: Guards: Mindaugas Lukauskis Arnas Berucka Ahmad Caver Forwards: Hugo Invernizzi Eigirdas Zukauskas Center: Marcos Delia Coach: Rimas Kurtinaitis
