The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

LKL top team - Zalgiris (30-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Neptunas (11-21) in Kaunas 84-49. Zalgiris dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas' 24. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Matt Mitchell (199-1999, college: SDSU) who helped to win the game recording 15 points. His fellow American import guard Isaiah Wong (193-2001, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Martynas Pacevicius (206-1997) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds for Neptunas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zalgiris have an impressive series of twenty six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 30-2 record. Neptunas at the other side keeps the eighth position with 21 games lost. Zalgiris are looking forward to face Jonava (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Neptunas will play against Wolves (#5) in Vilnius and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Siauliai was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Lietkabelis (17-15) played at the court of 7th ranked Siauliai (13-19). Lietkabelis defeated Siauliai 104-89. It was a great evening for swingman Martynas Varnas (196-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Paulius Danusevicius helped adding 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American Gerry Blakes (193-1993, college: Arizona St., agency: BIG) responded with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lietkabelis maintains fourth place with 17-15 record, which they share with Wolves. Siauliai at the other side keeps the seventh position with 19 games lost. Lietkabelis will play against league's second-placed Rytas in Vilnius in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Siauliai will play on the road against Juventus (#6) in Utena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Utena was also quite interesting. Second ranked Rytas (26-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Juventus (14-18). Rytas defeated Juventus 104-90 on Wednesday.
