Wolves keep Blazevic for another season

BC Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius (LKL) have re-signed Marek Blazevic, a 23-year-old international 209cm center, for the upcoming season. He played for the team last season, averaging 11.0ppg, 4.3rpg, and 1.3apg in 33 LKL games. Blazevic helped the team reach the Lithuanian Cup Semifinals and was voted League Player of the Week twice. He also played 18 games in Eurocup, where he averaged 9.6ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.0apg. Prior to joining BC Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius, Blazevic played for Monbus Obradoiro in the Spanish league for two seasons (2022-24).
He has also been a member of the Lithuanian international program for some years. Blazevic has regularly played for the Lithuanian senior team since 2020 and previously for the U16 National Team back in 2017.
He also represented Lithuania at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 9 ppg and had 4 rpg.
Blazevic has played previously for four other Lithuanian teams: Zalgiris, Rytas, Vilniaus KM U17 team, and Rytas Vilnius U18 team.
In 2022, his team reached the Lithuanian League Semifinals. He was part of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals All-Tournament Team in Beograd in 2018.
