Good Angels celebrated the Middle European League title. They overcame UNIQA Euroleasing in the title clash in Kosice. Jia Perkins (173-G-82, agency: Merit Management Group, college: Texas Tech) scored 23 points to pace the winners. Good Angels built a 19:10 lead after ten minutes. The hosts boosted the gap in the second frame. Good Angels piled up a 35:22 halftime advantage. The Kosice team maintained the lead throughout the third term. Good Angels ensured a 55:40 lead heading into the fourth stanza. UNIQA Euroleasing narrowed the deficit in the final frame but could not threaten the Slovakian team. Miljana Bojovic (181-G-87) finished with 16 points, while Zirkova added 11 points for the winning side. Tianna Hawkins (191-F-91, college: Maryland) answered with 20 points for UNIQA Euroleasing. Zsofia Fegyverneky (178-G-84, agency: Interperformances) had 14 points in the defeat.

3-4 Place

PEAC-Pecs - Novi Zagreb 64-58
PEAC-Pecs outgunned Novi Zagreb to claim the Middle European League Bronze medals. Maurita Reid (172-PG-85, college: Miami, FL) came up with 17 points to pace the Hungarian team. PEAC-Pecs eked out a 17:14 lead after ten minutes. The Hungarian side boosted the margin to double digits in the second quarter. PEAC-Pecs ensured a 37:27 halftime advantage. Things got even worse for the Croats in the third term. PEAC-Pecs piled up a 49:36 advantage before the final frame. Novi Zagreb cut the deficit in the fourth quarter but came up short of win at the end. Nevena Jovanovic (179-SG-90) chipped in 14 points, while Nagy added 9 points for the winners. Luca Ivankovic (198-C-87) answered with 24 points and 13 boards for Novi Zagreb. Jelena Ivezic (182-F/G-84) had 12 points in the loss.
