UA-Basco claim League title - May 28, 2017


UA-Basco - Alfa Basket 81:69

UA-Basco celebrated the League title. They overcame Alfa Basket in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to conquer the historic first trophy. Evgheni Nartov (200-F-87) stepped up with 22 points to lead the champions.
UA-Basco got to a strong start. They recorded a 15:12 lead ten minutes into the game. UA-Basco extended the margin at 11-point mark at the interval 37:26. Alfa Basket got within 5 points at the final intermission. But UA-Basco used a 25:18 run in the fourth stanza to ice the win. Artem Levitsky (198-F-94) accounted for 14 points in the victory. Gennadiy Kushmantsov (182-PG-96) responded with 23 points for Alfa Basket.


UA-BASCO claim Cup title - Jan 3, 2017


UA-BASCO celebrated the Moldovan Cup title. They beat Admirals UT 59:53 in the Final. Evgheni Nartov (200-F-87) stepped up with 20 points to pace the winners.
UA-BASCO grabbed a 13:8 lead ten minutes into the game. They extended the margin at 9-point mark at the big break 32:23. Admirals UT narrowed the gap in the third term. They pulled within 4 points at the final intermission. UA-BASCO however limited their opponents to just 10 points in the fourth frame and rallied to the victory. Vladimir Priscepnii (200-F-88) accounted for 12 points, while Chumar added 11 points in the win. Petru Romanov (97) answered with 15 points for Admirals UT. Vitalie Oprea (205-F-86) tossed in 14 points in the defeat.
