Dream signs DeWanna Bonner

Atlanta Dream signed experienced 39-year old double-passport holder North Macedonian guard DeWanna Bonner (6'4''-141lbs-1987, college: Auburn). She played this summer at Phoenix Mercury. In 37 WNBA games just recently she had 10.6ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg. She also played for another WNBA team Mercury earlier that season.
In 2009 she was drafted by Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) as #5 pick overall.
The former Auburn University standout is in her 19th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Bonner is quite experienced player. She has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Bonner has played professionally in China (Sports Lottery), Hungary (Szekszard), Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Russia (Dynamo Kursk and Nadezhda), Spain (Avenida and Rivas Promete), Turkey (Mersin), other WNBA teams (Connecticut Sun and Indiana Fever), Czech Republic (USK Praha) and Romania (ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe).
Among many awards she played in the final of Turkish KBSL in 2022. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Bonner is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible she may end her playing career at Dream.
