Jones number one in North Macedonia Super League for round 3

American Guard Cameron Jones (198-G-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for KK Madzari 2003, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, eight rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Strumica (1-2) 83-68. Madzari 2003 is placed at 5th position in North Macedonian Super League. Madzari 2003 is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 90.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Madzari 2003's top player in his first season with the team. Former McNeese State University star has very solid stats this year. Jones is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.7ppg) and averages impressive 62.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Davion Sykes (198-G-2003) of KK Tikvesh Golden Eagle Kavadarci. Sykes had a very good evening with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Tikvesh was edged by Kumanovo MK (2-1) 76-75. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Sykes is a newcomer at Tikvesh, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#7). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian guard Nikola Kocovic (197-G-1996) of KK Pelister Sport Bitola (#9). Kocovic got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. Despite Kocovic's great performance the Pelister lost 87-91 to Rabotnicki (#2, 3-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Pelister not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victory. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kocovic could try to bring Pelister's a little bit higher in the standings. The season just started for Kocovic as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
