Kmetovska comes back to KAM Basket

Ivana Kmetovska

KAM Basket Kamenica (Prva A Liga) added to their roster 28-year old North Macedonian international center Ivana Kmetovska (190cm-1995, college: WSU) for season 2023-24. It is actually her comeback to Kamenica as she has played here before. Kmetovska played most recently at Sf.Gheorghe in Romanian Liga Nationala, but left the team in Dec.'22. She managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. But in two Euroleague games she recorded just 1.0ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.0spg. Kmetovska also played 5 games in Eurocup where she averaged only 2.4ppg and 2.0rpg. And finally she contributed to 8 games in Liga Nationala where she got 7.8ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.0apg.
She won North Macedonian League championship title in 2021 and 2022 and the Supercup in 2022.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at Badel. In 15 WABA games she was league's fifth best scorer with impressive 18.1ppg and got 7.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg in that year. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-WABA Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
She also represented North Macedonia at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2015 nine years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 7.0ppg, 4.0rpg, FGP: 34.8%, FT: 62.5%.
She has played also professionally in Slovakia (Poprad), Spain and Turkey (Yalova Vip).
Kmetovska graduated from Washington State University in 2017 and it will be her seventh season as a professional player. She won North Macedonian League championship title in 2021 and 2022 and the Supercup in 2022.
