Andjelika Mitrashinovic (ex Montana) joins Piestanske Cajky

Piestanske Cajky (Extraliga) agreed terms with 29-year old North Macedonian international point guard Andjelika Mitrashinovic (177cm-1993) for new 2023-24 season. Mitrashinovic played last season at Montana 2003 in Bulgarian NBL league. In 7 games she was the best scorer with 14.0ppg and averaged 6.6rpg, 6.9apg (leader !!!) and 3.7spg (in top 3). She helped them to make it to the Bulgarian League final after they ended regular season as second best team. Mitrashinovic also played 9 games in WABA where she had very impressive stats: 18.4ppg, 6.7rpg, 6.1apg and 2.9spg. She contributed to her team making it to the semifinals. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
Mitrashinovic won WABA championship title in 2018 and 2020 and the cup in 2018 and 2020.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at Tarbes Gespe Bigorre in French LFB. In 21 games she recorded 5.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg in that year. She also played 7 games in Eurocup where she got 5.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.3spg in that year.
Mitrashinovic represented North Macedonia at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2015 nine years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 7.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 38.2%, 3PT: 13.3%, FT: 35.0%.
She has played also professionally in Bosnia (Celik and Banovici), Montenegro (Buducnost) and North Macedonia (ZKK Vardar Mladinec Skopje, Badel and KAM Basket).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Montenegrin League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2018. Mitrashinovic won WABA championship title in 2018 and 2020 and the cup in 2018 and 2020.
