Akronos Moncalieri (Serie A2) added to their roster 22-year old North Macedonian international point guard Tijana Mitreva (174cm-2001) for new 2023-24 season. Mitreva will still stay in Italy where she played last season at Aran Cucine Panthers Roseto. In 26 Serie A2 games in Italy she had 9.4ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.0apg.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at Dinamo Sassari (Serie A1). But in 5 games she recorded just 0.8ppg in that year. She also played 5 games in Eurocup, but she averaged only 0.8ppg in that year.
Mitreva has been also a member of North Macedonian international program for some years. She has regularly played for North Macedonian senior team since 2019 and two years ago for U22 National Team.
Mitreva represented North Macedonia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 Division B in Skopje (North Macedonia) six years ago. Her stats at that event were 7 games: 15.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.0apg, 1.7spg, FGP: 38.2%, 3PT: 34.8%, FT: 80.0%.
She has played also professionally in North Macedonia (Kozuvchanka).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she played in the final of FYR Macedonian League in 2015. Mitreva was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 Division B Honorable Mention back in 2017.
