Prva A Liga Round 7 (Regular Season): MZT lose to Kriva Palanka

Prva A Liga is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 7 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The biggest surprise took place in Palanka where host Kriva Palanka (3-4) beat league's leader MZT (5-2) 67-53 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MZT. Kriva Palanka moved-up to fifth place. MZT at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Vardar. MZT will play next round against Badel trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje - Badel. Kriva Palanka will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked KAM Basket in Kamenica.
Important game to mention about took place in Kumanovo. Fourth ranked Grizli (4-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Probasket (2-5) 68-67 on Saturday evening. Grizli maintains fourth place with 4-3 record. Probasket at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Badel. Grizli will play against league's leader Vardar in Skopje in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Probasket will play at home against Struga 2009 (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

KAM Basket will meet Kriva Palanka (#5) on the road in the next round. Struga 2009 will play against Probasket in Kavadartsi and hopes to get finally their first victory.
