Badel sign a second foreign player, ex Vojvodina 021

Destiny Thompson

KK Badel 1862 Skopje (Prva A Liga) tabbed 26-year old American 180cm forward Destiny Thompson (college: Georgian Court). Thompson is the second foreign player in the roster as Canadian Sofia Paska signed here earlier.
She played most recently at ZKK Vojvodina 021 Novi Sad in Serbian 1 ZLS. In 24 games she averaged 8.1ppg and 6.4rpg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. She can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention. Thompson also played 18 games in WABA where she had 8.6ppg and 6.4rpg.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at ZKK Struga 2009.
She has played also professionally in ZKK Spartak Subotica.
Thompson graduated from Georgian Court University in 2019 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
