Prva A Liga Round 11 (Regular Season): KAM Basket is defeated by Badel

The game between second ranked KAM Basket (8-2) and seventh ranked Badel (3-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. KAM Basket was crushed by Badel in Skopje 94-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of KAM Basket. Badel moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Probasket. Defending champion KAM Basket keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with MZT. Badel is looking forward to face higher ranked Grizli (#5) in Kumanovo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KAM Basket will play at home against the league's leader Vardar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Prva A Liga top team - Vardar (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Probasket (3-7) in Skopje 91-58. Vardar have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Probasket at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Badel. Vardar will play against league's second-placed KAM Basket in Kamenica in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Probasket will play at home against MZT (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Struga 2009 (0-10) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to third ranked MZT (8-2) 52-40 on Saturday evening. MZT have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with KAM Basket. Loser Struga 2009 still closes the standings with ten games lost. MZT will meet Probasket (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Struga 2009 will play against Kriva Palanka and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 11 Grizli was destroyed by Kriva Palanka on the opponent's court 88-63.
